Charles M. Henry Sr.
Entrepreneur /Veterans Advocate /Community Leader
Charles Mario Henry Sr. is the sole owner of Henry & Co. Consulting Firm and financial consultant. Born in the historic city of Flint, MI and raised in the suburbs of Chicago, he now lives in San Antonio, Texas where he founded Henry & Co on the historic and symbolic date of freedom “Juneteenth” 2012. Charles specializes in helping businesses grow domestically and internationally by providing owners with expert consulting, development and maximizing growth opportunities.
Charles spent 3 years on active duty Army with 101st Airborne Air Assault Division “Screaming Eagles” at Fort Campbell, Kentucky. Deployed to Kandahar Afghanistan in 2010. During his time serving in 96th Aviation Support Battalion he earned the Army Achievement Medal and Good Conduct Medal for his service.
After medically retiring from the United States Army, Charles earned multiple advance degrees in Network Administration, Public Policy and Business. Charles began veteran’s advocacy in 2011 soon after his return home from military, as this was crucial to “Life of Service”, in which he has dedicated his life to. Currently he is also the Vice Chair of the Disability Caucus in TYD (Texas Young Democrats elected 2018). Charles has served and currently on multiple boards and committees throughout his lifetime, most notably with AIPAC, World Affairs Councils, Bexar County Commissioners Office Precinct 4. Charles also currently serves with his fellow veterans in numerous roles at IAVA, The Mission Continues, and Wounded Warrior Project.
On his free time Charles enjoys spending time with his three sons, Charles JR, Armani,Marcelo as well as family dog, Avery. Charles is a world traveler and enjoys world history and architectural wonders of the world.
